Since 2002, the Norman Mailer Society has held an annual conference where academics, enthusiasts, and aficionados alike can share their thoughts on one of America’s great novelists.

The conference for 2008 is themed “Norman Mailer: Memory and the Afterlife” and, because of Mr. Mailer’s passing, will also include tributes and remembrances. See the official announcement and call for papers.
